Dovecot seems to be working fine. Cannot get emails sent or received through badhippodesign.com though. All I can do right now is access my mailbox through IMAP. Sat 17 Oct 2009, 09:34 I finally got everything working. The implementation I ended up going with maps email addresses as virtual domains with mail delivered to local Cortana accounts. This was the simplest method without getting into username/password tables and db lookups. It should work fine for us, since at the moment I forward all my email accounts to one master account. So now I'll just map all the different virtual addresses to my Cortana account. The 5% remaining is simply creating the rest of the virtual domain mappings.
1.3 install SpamAssassin Oct 13 Oct 16 6h 100% after getting PostFix all up and running on a real email address, it was quite evident that I needed some SPAM protection installed. Site5 SpamAssassin must have been killing all this automatically. Sun 18 Oct 2009, 00:28 SpamAssassin is up and running and marking email *****SPAM***** in the subjects :) Need to do some training after collecting a few days worth of SPAM. Wed 21 Oct 2009, 21:11 Trained SpamAssassin several times. Need to do a couple more weeks worth of training. Need to get the server set up to deliver SPAM marked mail to specific SPAM folders so they don't clutter inboxes.

Investigate using the current REST protocol for interfacing with Gallery3 for the polaroids and a sidebar widget.
