Yeah, the River Walk was surprisingly cool. The rest of San Antonio was pretty blah, but the River Walk is definitely worth checking out.

Hmmm. Judging from our Skype call the other night, I’d definitely be canceling. Usually you have 30 days to cancel, but the terrible satellite companies probably rip people off in that respect too. I’d consider switching back to Hughes if you can. Probably worth it even if you do have to pay for the equipment. Let me know what they say and I can look around, because I’m pretty sure you could find used satellite modems on eBay for really cheap (in comparison anyway).

Cool! Yep, we have internet again, but I’m about ready to call and have them come and get everything and cancel it. We went with Wildblue, and so far I am very disappointed. Very random speeds and no consistency at all. I tried downloading a 5mb file last night to upgrade my Storybook Creator software and it locked up 3 times at like 70 – 80%. Finally it worked the 4th time, but that’s crap! The second time I tried it was flying for 50% (like 10 seconds) and than slowed to a crawl. Makes no sense, but I can’t deal with that. Danny Schmitz installed it for us, but I’m not impressed with him either. He had the input/output switched and it wouldn’t work, so he left and said he’d come back the next day. Well, Dad messed with it and got it working later that night. The next day he came back, but didn’t leave any paperwork, passwords for e-mail or anything. I think it’s the law that you have 3 days to cancel, so I’m considering it. C u! How about Skype later today?

Ohhh yeah, good catch. I believe it is going to be part of the new Gallery 3 but I haven’t tested that out yet. I’ll have to check on that and add tasks if necessary. And glad to see I’ll be helping G-Maw out .

So internet again? What’s the word on that? Who is the new provider?

Can’t wait to see the new web design! Grandma will be happy cause she always had trouble reading the white text on black screen! I’m especially excited for the video part! I’m so glad to finally have internet back!
