I just had a nice pain-free upgrade of my Ubuntu server from 8.10 to 9.04. I had been holding off upgrading for several weeks because I was positive something would break and I’d spend hours getting it back up and running. Much to my surprise, everything went off without a hitch.

Woot! joshandmeg.net was finally approved for the Woopra beta. Woopra is a very new cutting-edge website statistics application, viewable through the members area of the website and through a desktop client for Linux, Mac, and Windows. Success! I just upgraded joshandmeg.net to WordPress 2.5 (Release Candidate 1). Overall it was a pretty painless upgrade. I accidentally deleted my wp-config.php file during the process, so I had to hunt down my database data to fill in a new one. Other than that though, I didn’t have any problems.
