Ali’s 3rd Birthday Party

I’m a little late in getting these up, but it’s that time of year again, the May birthday rush! This year for Ali’s party we had a pixie/enchanted forest themed party, and all the kids that came dressed up as pixies or dragons (just Xavier really ). I think it was probably our most successful birthday bash yet. All the girls looked adorable in their little pixie outfits, and Xavier’s dragon outfit helped keep him from feeling left out.

Of course Megan outdid herself again this year, with what may be her best cake yet. The main part of the cake was a big decaying log, with vines and flowers and all sorts of stuff growing on it to go along with the enchanted forest theme. Then sitting beside the log is the little pixie she made by hand, and it’s all edible!

We decided to get the kids power wheels for their birthdays this year, and so Ali got a pink Barbie Jeep. She’s got quite a ways to go before she really knows what she’s doing, but she loves taking her little Eva doll for rides in it, even if she doesn’t like to use the steering wheel .
