Re-living My Childhood Cartoons

Xavier has recently started watching a cartoon on Disney XD called X-men: Evolution. I remember watching the X-men cartoon when I was little and absolutely loving it, so now I’m re-living those memories through Xavier :) We will literally sit on the couch together and watch the whole thing (to be honest I think I pay more attention that Xavier, but he really does like it).

He even recognized that one of the characters had the same name as him. It was hilarious, one of the characters said “Where’s Professor Xavier,” and Xavier started cracking up and said “He said my name!”  So yes, my son likes X-men, my job as a parent is complete.

    Glad to hear you and Xavey are having such meaningful bonding moments together! :)
    Hey did you see that GI Joe is coming out as a movie? Dennis Quaid is one of the main characters. You and Xavier will have to go see it together!!!

    Yeah I saw one of the trailers for it. Unfortunately it has really high potential to be terrible, hopefully it isn’t. I’ll have to watch it either way though.
