Xavier’s Second Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Xavier!  Xavier turned 2 on Friday, and we had his big birthday bash Saturday afternoon.  We had another great turnout (thanks to all who came ), and Xavier loved all the attention.  We had burgers on the grill, the awesome car cake you see above, and ice cream.  Yes, Megan has outdone herself yet again.  This year she was up until 6:30am working on the cake, and I think it was her best yet.  It was a bit different than her previous cakes,  she gave fondant a try this year; and now the bar is that much higher for next year.

After presents, burgers, and cake, we all headed outside to play with Xavier’s new toys.  You can see the in photo album the crazy ‘hamster wheel’ thing we got him.  It was a blast.  Once the kids tired out, we played a few good rounds of bocce ball and just hung out for awhile.
