Xavier’s First Birthday

Xavey’s first birthday was this past Wednesday, boy did he have fun. However, it has now become apparent that we have definitely outgrown our house already. Xavier’s toys are taking over, and I’m sure Ali’s will add to it even more. The problem isn’t really that he has too many toys, it’s just that all of his toys are so big!

Anyway, on to how much fun Xavier had. We started the party off with his presents, that way he could get them all opened before tearing into his birthday cake. He was so funny opening his presents, he’d get one opened and be completely focused on it. So we had to pretty much force him to open the rest after the first one. Once all his toys were out and put together, he was literally spinning around trying to figure out which to play with.

After he played for a bit we finally let him tear into his dino-cake. Meg and her mom had worked on it off and on for the two days leading up to the party, so it was pretty tough for Meg to let him tear it apart . She managed though. Xavier definitely liked the green icing. I think his entire face, hands, and forearms were green . Check out the pictures if you haven’t already.
